• Volunteers

We empower our volunteers to have a positive impact on our projects by providing them with comprehensive training, resources and support, thereby allowing them to develop practical, personal and interpersonal skills. Our staff and representatives will be on hand to guide the volunteers through each stage of their journey - from booking the right programme to catching the flight home and everything in between. Our dedicated team will conduct regular check-ins to monitor progress, address any concerns and provide ongoing support throughout the duration of the project.

    Partners

We are committed to creating and maintaining robust partnerships with organisations and initiatives that share our common goals in wildlife conservation. It is of the utmost importance to us that these collaborations are built upon mutual trust, respect, and a shared passion for protecting the world's precious biodiversity. Ultimately driving meaningful and sustainable impact. Reviews will be regularly conducted to ensure that these partnerships remain effective and aligned with our mission, allowing us to adapt and improve our collective efforts towards conservation through our volunteer programmes.

  • Community outreach has incredible value and potential in ensuring the conservation of some of the most ecologically significant areas on the planet. By involving and educating the local communities, we can ensure that our conservation efforts are both effective and sustainable. This collaborative approach not only cultivates a sense of ownership and responsibility among community members, but also provides them with the necessary skills and knowledge to manage and protect their natural resources, many of which are under imminent threat from external factors backed by significant financial power.

We partner with organisations who are heavily engaged with community outreach to ensure our common goals are met. Volunteers will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the community by meeting the people and being exposed to the unique culture that every community possesses. Through this cultural immersion, volunteers will gain a deeper understanding of the local way of life, create meaningful connections and develop a sense of empathy and appreciation for the community's values and traditions.

  • The purpose of scientific research is to inform action and bridge the gap between knowledge and practice. Research empowers individuals and organisations to make informed decisions, drive innovation and solve complex problems.

Our volunteers can expect to be involved in a diversity of activities on any one of our programmes. Each project has been designed with science at its core. Volunteers will assist our partners by collecting and analysing data pertaining to our projects, testing proven and unproven theories to optimise existing practice and to inspire new ones. Volunteers will also be encouraged to create their own research projects with guidance from our experienced staff.

  • We place enormous emphasis on creating a culture of respect between our volunteers, partners, the community and the environment. Clear communication and embracing diversity are key factors in ensuring that everybody feels valued, respected and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives and ideas. This in turn enables us to maintain a safe and inclusive working environment, which is invaluable as many of our projects take place in wild and remote areas.

If you don't respect nature, it won't respect you.
